An unprecedented digression from the Belluna Valley Ring to discover the flowering of daffodils at Colderù above Lentiai.
If you wish to immerse yourself in the beauty of the spring nature of the Val Belluna, a bicycle excursion through the meadows of daffodils blossoms above Lentiai is an experience not to be missed. This area, known for its biodiversity, offers breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for a cycling trip.
During the month of May, the meadows of Pian de Coltura and Col Artent are transformed into a sea of white flowers, offering a unique natural spectacle. This event is the result of an environmental protection project that has contributed to the recovery of these historic blooms.
A recommended route is the Percorso dei Capitelli, which starts from Lentiai and reaches Colderù. This itinerary winds between asphalted and dirt roads, crossing woods and clearings, and offers suggestive views over the Val Belluna and the Belluno Dolomites. Along the route, you can admire twelve aediculae, ten of which were frescoed by contemporary artists, and visit places of interest such as the hermitage of San Donato and the church of San Giacomo di Colderù. The route has a total length of around 9.3 km, with a positive altitude difference of 206 metres, and is classified as easy, also suitable for families and beginners.
An e-bike, mountain bike or gravel bike is ideal for tackling the unpaved sections and slight climbs of the route.
