CYCLING ROUTES ON THE RIGHT AND LEFT BANKS OF THE PIAVE RIVER
The Val Belluna will surprise you with lakes, waterfalls and wetlands; villages where time has frozen; a medieval castle hidden in the mountains and a shrine with frescos of the school of Giotto; the fascinating rose garden of the Dolomites Ethnographic Museum and one of the richest historical bicycle museums in Italy.
The Anello della Val Belluna (Val Belluna Ring) is the point of departure for six cycling itineraries that will take you to the most evocative places in the Piave valley, between the Dolomites of the Parco Nazionale delle Dolomiti Bellunesi and the Pre-Alps.
ON THE RIGHT BANK OF THE PIAVE
On the right Bank of the Piave you will find the boroughs of Belluno, Sedico, Santa Giustina, Cesiomaggiore, Feltre dominated by the peaks of the Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park.
ON THE LEFT BANK OF THE PIAVE
On the left bank of the Piave you will find the boroughs
of Borgo Valbelluna, Limana
and the Prealpi Bellunesi territory.
THE PANORAMIC RING
The route winds along the hillsides of the Bellunese Pre-Alps and the Bellunese and Feltrine Dolomites. It offers wide and spectacular views of the Piave Valley and the Dolomite peaks.
