The new cyclist counter installed on the Gravazze cycle path will be a very useful tool for quantifying the cycle tourism flows of the Anello della Val Belluna.
The inauguration was held on March 28, 2025 with a large participation of FIAB Belluno – Italian Federation of Environment and Bicycle. The Mayor of Santa Giustina Ivan Minella recalled the importance of the Anello della Val Belluna for cycle tourism, which is part of the Veneto Region project “Green Tour Verde in movimento”. He also underlined how the cyclist counter will finally provide objective data on the use of the cycle path, making public opinion aware that the money invested in these infrastructures is well spent. Speakers included Gianni Burigo, councilor of the BIM Piave Consortium, which financed the cyclist counter, the councilor of the Municipality of Sedico Alessandro Bianchet and Pierluigi Trevisan, president of FIAB Belluno.
