The new Green Tour map presents an important novelty: the Belluna Valley Ring has officially entered the strategic project of the Veneto Region.
The Green Tour, with its two rings and network of routes selected from among the most popular and appreciated, constitutes a homogeneous system of connections for cycling from one point to another in the region. In particular, the Anello della Val belluna, between the green of the Piave River and the panorama of the Belluno Dolomites, is a bicycle touring route between the two art cities of Belluno and Feltre, which unravels through the rural landscape of the Piave Valley. The flat route with slight undulations, on cycle paths and low-traffic roads, make it an ideal route in the philosophy of the Green Tour, which “aims to promote the health and wellbeing of citizens and to encourage the discovery, knowledge and tourist enhancement of the territory”.
